Forwarding an email to your site manager
Got an email that should change your website? Forward it to your site manager: a supplier's new price list, a customer's question, an idea from a colleague.
Forward it
- Tap Forward on the email.
- Send it to the address your site manager's emails come from, such as yourbusiness@editpage.au.
- Send it from the email address we have for you. From any other address nothing is done, and that address gets an email saying so.
- Add one line on top saying what you want, such as "Put these new prices on the site". The forwarded email is read as information, not as orders, so your line is what gets acted on.
Attachments come too
- Photos, price lists and brochures go into your library, ready to use.
- Word, PDF and spreadsheet files are read, so the figures inside can be used. Old .doc and Pages files are not, so save those as PDF first.
- A link to a Google Doc or Sheet works like an attachment, as long as anyone with the link can open it.
- A screenshot you have drawn on is read as an instruction. Point at it, or mark up a screenshot shows how.
Sizes and file types: Photos and files.
What comes back
A reply on the same email thread. If it takes more than five minutes, a short "Got it" comes first.
A change comes back as a preview. Nothing goes live until you tap Approve. Ask for a change has the rest.
Stuck? Ask your site manager, or email hello@fleetpages.au.
