Who can do what with your site

About 65% of Australian small businesses holding back from AI say they distrust AI decisions or want to keep human control. So here is exactly what the AI on your site can and cannot do, and who else can see your data.

The figure is from the National AI Centre's SME AI Pulse.

The AI builds. You publish.

Your Manager AI puts every page change on a temporary preview and parks it for your approval. It cannot publish anything itself. A change you never approve simply never goes live.

Your preview link works for 48 hours and lets whoever holds it approve, so keep it to yourself. To get a second opinion, use Show someone: it sends a read-only link that cannot approve anything. Putting a page back to an earlier version goes through the same approval.

What changes without a page preview

No change the AI makes to your site's pages publishes without your yes. A few settings are not pages, and they take effect straight away: stock counts in a shop, booking times, the notes your chat assistant answers from, and tracking goals. Adding a tracking code or switching the chat bubble on or off waits for you to press a confirm link. Platform updates from our team, such as fixes to the enquiry form, reach every site without a preview.

Who can ask for changes

An emailed request only counts if it proves it really came from the address it claims, and that address is registered on your site. Both checks must pass before the Manager reads a word of it. Jezweb staff addresses also pass, on every site. An email on its own can never change who is registered: only a signed-in owner or Jezweb staff can.

Who can see an enquiry

You and anyone you add to your site, the addresses your enquiries are sent to, your Manager AI, and Jezweb staff who run the platform. Our staff can open any site's dashboard and read every enquiry, for support. No advertiser sees your data, and no third party beyond the services that run it: Cloudflare hosts it all, and Anthropic's AI reads each enquiry to sort out spam. No other site on the platform can read yours.

You sign in with an emailed link or your Google account. There are no passwords to steal. The sign-in link we email you works once and lasts 7 days, so keep that email to yourself. An account can only be made for an address already registered on a site.

Files people send you

A file attached to an enquiry is virus-scanned before anyone can open it, and a file whose name does not match what is inside it is refused. Attachments are kept for 30 days.

Backups and restores

Our team can restore the databases behind your site to any point in the last 30 days, on request. We also export a copy of every database every night and keep it for 90 days, in a separate store. Pictures, uploaded files and chat history are not part of those copies. Every version of your site the Manager publishes is kept, and any of them can come back through the same approval as a change.

Spam

Every enquiry form carries a hidden field that people never see and bots fill in, and those submissions are dropped. Every enquiry is then read by Anthropic's AI and sorted as genuine, unsure or spam: likely spam is held back and not delivered, and unsure ones are delivered as normal. Held ones show in your dashboard, and if one was real, ask us and we deliver it. If the sorting is ever unavailable, your enquiries still arrive, after about ten minutes.

Some sites also run a Cloudflare Turnstile check, depending on how the site is set up. Where it runs, its result is recorded on the enquiry.

Where it runs

Your site, its enquiries and its files run on Cloudflare's network, using Cloudflare's default placement for where data is stored, with no country guaranteed. When we last checked, in September 2026, our databases and file stores sat in Cloudflare's Oceania region, but no setting holds them there. Your site is served over HTTPS.

People, when you want them
